About 20 years ago, Julia's Allergy and Natural Healing Centre in Somerset, England, was one of three tested by WHICH magazine.  A huge number of tests were sent to the Centre through a period of several weeks.  WHICH magazine did not declare who they were and pretended that they were forwarding tests to be done from various health clubs.  Although quite disbelieving of allergy tests in general at that time, it was good advertising for the Centre and it generated a lot of work.

Our horse Tammy, now 34 years old, was knocked down in the road on March 2nd 2004 and sustained 4 fractured bones in her front left leg, mainly around her elbow joint.  She was in intense pain and it was 2 hours before I knew about it and got to her.  She was so bad, I thought she may die right there and then in the road, she had stood back up from the ground but was swaying and we had to prop her up with bales of straw to try and prevent her falling down again.  I called the vet who came out and gave her a painkilling injection.  She was unable to walk and the road was blocked for several hours.

Friends at the stables rallied round to help us and we backed a horse box up to her and managed to load her and take her to the vets where she had X rays.  The normal course for a horse with broken or fractured bones in the leg is to put them down.  I found a strength I hadn’t know I had before and firmly informed everybody that she would not be put down and insisted that I would heal her.  We got her back to her own stable in Clayhidon and I embarked on the daunting task of giving her healings, whilst being surrounded by gloom and despair.  Nobody believed that I could heal her including my own family.  The vet put her on a sufficient dose of painkiller that took away the worst of the pain but still enabled her to feel it so that she would not put too much weight on her leg.

After the first healing which I gave her in the road, she began to eat the straw which was preventing her falling, and the help of the painkillers, from the word go, she seemed to be bright and cheerful and continued to eat normally.  Within one week, I had 3 powerful dreams telling me that I had a lot of hard work but would have a big success at the end.  These dreams helped me enormously, especially in the face of the disbelief around me.  My only support was a patient of mine who knew that healing works and she sat with me on many occasions.

I sat with Tammy from early morning until evening every day, virtually camped out for several weeks at the stables, going home only to sleep.  I gave her 3 healings a day, each healing lasting half an hour.  I prayed to God and asked Jesus, Archangel Raphael, St. Francis of Assisi, Maeve and any other angel, Archangel, vets or surgeons who could possibly help to heal her.  I also applied a poultice of the herb comfrey which can be called knit-bone.

I envisaged the white light of Christ and the emerald green light of Archangel Raphael filling the whole leg.  These colours would change however and different colours would flood in.  At each healing session, there were at least 2 or 3 angels around her.

She appeared to be doing very well and her leg seemed to be getting stronger.  Then after 3 weeks, we had a major setback.  The vet had warned that there could be serious problems when the injuries would reach their weakest point after about 2 weeks, when the muscles would separate from the bones.  This point had arrived after 3 weeks and she suddenly was unable to stand on the leg again.  The vet confirmed that her fears had materialised.  She said that the bones would now not mend because at the elbow joint, two lots of muscles were pulling in different directions and pulling the bones apart.  Her words were ‘I won’t put her down today but you need to prepare yourselves for that over the next two weeks.’

Again I insisted I would heal her.  I was not prepared to give up.  An extraordinary strength seemed to be with me, especially with nobody around me believing it.  My daughter thought I was just blanking out the inevitable and was seriously worried about how she would ever get me through the trauma.

10 days later, she put weight on her leg and began to walk normally again.  I actually ‘saw’ the moment she was healed.  During the night when I could not sleep, I sent her absent healing and this particular night, I saw her in the stable surrounded by about a dozen shadowy figures, everything was dark except for Tammy’s front leg which was a brilliant silvery white light.  I then saw someone bend down and sew the muscles and bones together with what looked like ligament.  I knew at that moment, she was healed.

It took 4 and a half weeks from start to completion.  As soon as we let her out into her paddock, she took off at a canter and it was a wonderful sight to behold, it made us cry.  We still have our beautiful horse in our lives, we have had her for 26 years and she is part of the family and the sweetest horse in the world.  She moved to Spain with us for 8 years and has had all kinds of adventures.  Tammy was 9 when we bought her and my daughter Rachael was 10.  She joined the pony club and did lots of jumping with her, cross country and dressage and won 59 rosettes with her over the years.  I have always ridden her myself too and we have had wonderful rides over Exmoor and the Andalucian mountains together.

It was an extremely distressing roller coaster of emotions which left me traumatised by the experience.  However, healing a 31 year old horse of 4 leg fractures is an incredible miracle and I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have been given this spiritual gift which has saved her life.
